How do I shop at Mrs. Peggs?

Shopping at Mrs. Peggs is safe and easy. To order a product, go to our order page and enter the number of units of each model you wish to purchase then click the Checkout button.

Proceeding through the checkout

Once you have submitted your order, follow the simple checkout process. First enter the address you want the order delivered to then click the 'Continue' button to tally your order including any delivery charges (where applicable). To pay for your order, click the PayPal button and you will be directed to PayPal's secure site. You can pay using your PayPal account or your credit card if you don't have an account and don't wish to create one.

When you confirm and place your order you will receive an order/invoice number and an email from PayPal confirming your payment.

Reliable Delivery

We deliver anywhere within the UK and most of Europe. Please allow 3-9 working days for delivery. Regional areas may take a little longer. The following delivery charges are applied to all orders:

UK: GB£13.80 | UK (outer isles): GB£35 | Continental Europe: EU€68

Product Availability

Our listed products (large and small models) are in stock at all times. If there is any issue with our ability to meet your order then you will be notified.

Accepted Credit Cards

We accept payment from these credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, UK Maestro, Visa Debit/Delta and Visa Electron.

Cancelling an order

We will accept cancellation if the order has not been sent. If your order has been processed, paid for and sent we will not accept cancellation but we'll accept the goods back as a "return" - see our Returns Policy below. You can cancel an order by contacting us at admin@mrspeggshandyline.co.uk or calling us free phone on 0800 280 2237 during office hours. Please include the order number in your communication.

Taxes and currency

Prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling or Euros. The default currency will depend on your location. You can switch currency between Euros and pounds by clicking the currency link on the order page. No VAT is payable on your order.

We are fully committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information that you submit will be used purely to process orders and is protected by our secure server. We do NOT sell, trade, or give-away any information we may have on any of our customers. Our servers and other computers use sophisticated security procedures to protect all our information from unauthorised access.

What information do we gather?

When you place an order through our website, we may collect and retain the following information that you provide us when you submit an order or place an inquiry: your name, telephone number, email address, and postal address. We also collect your internet protocol (IP) address, which is required for fraud related investigations.

We use PayPal payment services to process all orders. This means that we do not see, store or collect any customer's credit card information for orders placed through our website.

Your Consent and Changes to this Policy

Subject to the above provisions, by using our website, you consent to the collection and use of information by us and the terms of this Privacy Policy. We may change our Privacy Policy from time to time and we will post those changes so that you are always aware of what information we collect, and how we use it.

Our returns and refunds policy

The HANDY LINE has a two (2) year warranty supported by Mrs. Peggs Products Pty. Ltd. Please click here to view it. We also offer a 30 day money-back guarantee. If you are unhappy with the HANDY LINE for any reason, simply return it to us within 30 days and we will refund the cost of the HANDY LINE. Note, we will only accept the return of a product if it is undamaged and you send it back within 30 days. It is your obligation to pay for and ensure the safe return of the product to us. Please note that we will only refund delivery charges if the return is a result of our error.

Legal compliance

Eco Washing Lines returns and refunds policy is in accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive which came into force in October 2000 and is part of UK law under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This law applies to all transactions within the UK where a consumer does not meet the vendor. Contracts between businesses are not governed by these regulations.

Your rights as a consumer

In accordance with the law, you have a 7 day 'cooling off period' in which you have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund. You do not need to give a reason for cancelling your purchase. We are obliged to refund your payment in full within 30 days of your cancellation.
